The Coniston Shooting Ground is sited on the superb 1400 acre Coniston Estate near Skipton in the heart of the stunning North Yorkshire dales. Headed up by Peter Manley, the ground is run by a close knit team of experienced and highly qualified shooting instructors and staff.
Just off the A65 Skipton to Settle road, the countryside setting of the ground allows for some of the most challenging and interesting clay pigeon shooting.
The ground is CPSA Premier Plus ranked making it one of the best grounds in the UK. We offer superb facilities, you just have to see our imposing log cabin clubhouse to believe it, complete with shop, conference room and it’s own catering facility, it is un-rivaled in the area.
We cater for all levels of experience. For the beginner we supply a gun, safety instruction and an instructor to allow you to gain a sound grounding in the shooting skills. We aim to get everyone hitting at least 50% of clays so even the most novice shooter can be surprised by their ability. Whether you would like to join us for a days shooting, a corporate event or to become a member a warm welcome is guaranteed whatever.
